Start ups and small production runs

For brands with small initial runs and for those just starting out we can offer full guidance on the packaging process. Usually we start from receiving a sample of your product and a brief of functionality and style required of the packaging. From the start we can provide plain samples, printed prototypes and colour draw down samples so that you can be confident in the end product at every step of the process.

Of particular relevance for growing brands is that we have a dedicated workflow for small production runs and have even worked on one off prototypes for presentations. In addition to this we welcome customers to visit us and see how the process works.

Established Brands

As a technology-focused company we have a highly automated production facility with BRC and ISO accreditations for high hygiene and quality manufacturing respectively. In particular, we have earned a strong reputation for industry-leading turnaround times and our technical ability to produce complex packaging.

We also work with many of the largest UK retailers which means we have the capacity to supply larger production runs. We can offer support on supply chain objectives such as primary and secondary packaging design review to reduce packaging waste and process advice to reduce / offset your carbon footprint.

Sampling

Before going into full production of your packaging we offer plain samples of the cartons or packs for design approval and testing. These are produced on the recommended packaging board or substrate and can be used to test the functionality through crush and transit tests.

Printed Prototypes

In addition to plain samples, we can produce fully printed prototypes. These high quality printed prototypes clearly demonstrate how your packaging will look in production.

Prototypes can also be used when you require small quantities for photo shoots, promotions, presentations or testing.

premium bottle neck hangers and tags

Additionally to drinks cartons and boxes, we regularly produce complimentary packaging for promotions and marketing. We have created a wide range from simple bottle neck hangers for a promotion to small promotional cartons for measuring jiggers.

Printed bottle tags and hangers can be a cost effective alternative to boxes and cartons where retail shelf space is at a premium. Creatively designed neck tags can also be used effectively for small localised promotions and even cocktail guides.

Unlike many of our competitors, we have a commercial print finishing department enabling us to produce accompanying booklets, flyers and posters for promotional purposes. This has the added advantage of single sourcing and consistency across the range.

gift packaging

Printed gift packaging is a great way to group products for seasonal promotions or combining complementary products for retail. Using our in house packaging design team, we can create bespoke gift boxes to hold bottles, glasses and other gifts securely with internal trays and fitments.

As well as gift packaging for single products, we regularly manufacture multi packs and twin packs containing commemorative glasses where it is essential to use card fitments and the correct materials to avoid breakage.

We can produce gift packs on heavier corrugated fluted boards for added strength and stability as well as window patching for added display quality.

Beverage packaging, teas, coffee and herbal drinks in particular, have made huge leaps in their quality in recent times. In a market where it is essential to have cost effective packaging, we work with brands to create stand out packaging designs.

Our UV press allows us to print on textured and kraft materials with exceptional colour vibrancy and contrast. This opens up a wider range of materials for your packaging as well as instant drying and therefore quicker turnaround times.

Carton design is a big point of difference in this market and our experienced team of designers and customer service representatives are on hand to offer advice and recommendations on apertures, embossing, metallic foiling, spot gloss effects and other creative finishes.
